Changing a Businesses Storefront Door Closure
Part 1: One of our clients had a problem with their store front. Their doors were slamming shut when customers would enter the store. This poses several risks. Repeated slamming causes stress to the storefront’s door, side lites and transom. That additional stress can cause the door to unhinge, loosen the transoms mullion, or shatter the side lites/storefront doors glass.
We came to Madison Square Garden to fix their door closures. The bottom picture is a 450 lb herculite door. We must remove the whole door from the #store so we can swap out the concealed door closure. #dedicated #glass
Part 2: ‘out with the old, in with the new.’ This is an older model Rixon concealed door closure. Rixon manufactures some of the most durable, long lasting door closures on the market. Unfortunately, this hardware is a rare gem and is very hard to come by. You would be pressed hard on your luck to find this in anybody’s inventory. Luckily for our client, we strive to maintain a stock of all hardware. We were able to diagnose and repair our client’s store front door much sooner than anybody else could. #dedicated #glass #storefront #architecture
